 Prices
Trips can be booked on either an individual basis or as a party up to a maximum of twelve people. Trip lengths vary from 8 - 12 hours, however shorter trips can be specially arranged for the evenings. Inshore wrecks up to 10 miles offshore are accessible on 8 hour trips but for the offshore wrecks a 10 or 12 hour trip is recommended. Prices are as follows;

Weekends during the summer months are all 12 hour trips, however on weekdays any length of trip may be chosen. When booking individually I need a minimum of four to sail, however even if your group only numbers 1 - 3 it is worth inquiring as I will probably be able to fit you onto another individual trip.
Rod Hire
Rods can be hired for an additional charge of £3-00.
Bait
I stock the following baits, which can be ordered the evening before your trip;
Mackerel (8 fillets) - £2
Frozen Sandeel - £1-50
Lugworm - £2-50
Live sandeel - 15p each (need warning of one week before trip)
Tactics
Pollack will take jelly worms, frozen and live sandeel and small red-gills fished on a flying collar rig (12-14 foot of trace).
Conger are fished for normally with a mackerel flapper or an array of mackerel chunks.
For ling, either a large mackerel fillet on a trace or a jigged baited pirk is best, occasionally they are taken whilst fishing for pollack with frozen sandeel. |
